Play and Early Learning

We deliver a wide range of play activities across our Sure Start area to ensure that all our children are able to spend time learning through play.  We have a crèche service to support parents attending groups and for those who need a little time to themselves.  We also deliver a Home Play Programme, staff who come into your home and play with you and your child – leaving you lots of ideas to try yourself.  We support play and early learning by offering toys and books for families to borrow. We also deliver the Sure Start Developmental Programme for Two to Three Year Olds in three different locations in Coleraine.

 

Speech and Language Support

We support children’s speech, language and communication skills by offering a variety of courses for parents, home visits and input into the Sure Start Developmental Programme for Two to Three Year Olds. We run interactive play mornings and information events to give parents fun and everyday ways to encourage their child’s development.
